Serville, 1993 by Henri Cartier-Bresson

Serville is a black and white photo that is taken through what seems to be a broken wall, in the photograph you have young children playing around in a ruined area. The qualities that drew me to it was the street photography like feel to it. It’s similar to more modern photographs where you might see kids playing with a fire hydrant during the summer. What makes it relevant is that you get an insight of the community that they are in and how they are able to find joy in the littlest things.
