Even though this picture is from 1963, it is still really relevant in today’s world. Despite the black lives matter movement, white cops have still been treating black Americans differently than white Americans. I think this is why I found this picture so effective and why it stood out to me. You can see the woman in the picture is being pulled by the cops. She looks sad and scared, while the cops look mad.
