This photo of the fire hydrant caught my eye because of the contrasts of the reds in the hydrant and the green of the shrubbery behind it. I got to play with photoshop and lightroom with this photo to enhance the colors. I think this photo is funny too because it looks like the hydrant is wearing a yellow hat.

I call this LDOF photo from a dog’s perspective. For me, nothing represents streets more than dogs on a walk. I wanted to capture an adaptation of “boots in the ground” so I created “paws on the street.”

I was able to capture this picture using the live feature. The rain gives the picture a natural blur adding an element of creativity to the photo. I also like the contrasts between the black car and the colorful trees and writing on the road.
