After selecting Jeff Wall as a photographer to interpret, it was not a second that I searched his name and found countless images like the one above. Full set rooms and scenes with subjects in action. It is clear that Jeff Wall has a passion for setting up full scale photos, especially after reading more about him. I learned that he combines photography with additional art forms in order to create his work. This is clear as he brings the art of sport into the above photo. In addition, he creates documentary photography, which is understandable due to the large scenes which he sets up in most of his photos. In the photo above, there are two seemingly teenage boys boxing. It is ironic because the room that they are in is perfectly clean. I think that this attributes to the message that Wall was trying to get through as he contrasts the “messy” sport with the clean room. The viewer can almost hear the seen of the young boys mother seeing them and yelling at them “not in the house!”
