How to Avoid too Much light with Long Exposure Times

After reading this article entitled “How to Capture Motion in Blur in Photography” I learned a lot about how to be successful in this assignment. Particularly, I learned how to avoid having too much light in an image when using long shutter speeds. These techniques include, using small apertures, decreasing ISO, and trying the use of a natural density filter. These are all things I will take into consideration when shooting my images, in order to find which works best for my images.
