The photo in color is a short depth of field capture. This is demonstrated through the focus on the main subject (me) in clear view and the background (leaves) as unfocused. I used the portrait mode feature on my iPhone to capture this image. The photo in black and white was captured using the regular camera and is an example of long depth photography. This is shown through both the subject and background of the photo being in focus. I chose to edit the picture in black and white because I feel like it pulls the photo together well and accents all components equally.
