The photograph above was taken by Seydou Keïta between 1951 and 1952. As I scrolled through the portraits this picture peaked my interest. What grabbed my attention is there are eleven men with boxer wraps and no shirts in combat positions. While the instructor kneels in front of his students. The athletes with the darker shorts give off a darker complexion where as the men with the white shorts seem to be lighter in skin tone.

A single model or a pair might have made it easier for you to observe more detail. This is a difficult photograph to observe a lot of detail.
