Voyiazis – Final Book Project PDF

My concept for this project was to take realistic photos of these 1:10 scale model vehicles in an environment that would make them look accurate to the 1:1 models. Since the cars are highly detailed, I thought they would look believable to be real cars by taking photos of them from a low angle rather than an overhead shot. I took these 4 cars to the Trains and Lanes on road race track in Nazareth to replicate the look of a track and grandstands of a real raceway such as Pocono.

  1. I absolutely loved your book. The hyper-focus of the lens made the cars come to life. The angles you chose made the cars seem life-sized. It was the exact opposite of the toy photography that we just studied and I thought it was a cool integration of what we learned. I loved how you put them on a road line to make it look like they were racing. It was a really cool concept and came out incredibly well.

  2. I like your book the angles you took the pictures in made the cars look more realistic. I also like the flow of your book how you had individual shots of multiple cars then went into group shots. Like you mentioned in your description these cars have a lot of details which make your shots look more realistic along with the angles you took them at.

  3. This book was such an amazing and unique concept. The shots were so interesting and just seeing the details of the cars could make anyone believe that they were actually vehicles. The colors of the models are so vibrant and unique. The composition of your photos are amazing as well! Good job!

  4. I really like the idea of toy cars that you choose as your book topic. The angles and the focus you take on to shoot the cars are definitely very strong on showing the detail.
