This gallery was created in an attempt to raise awareness around the relationship between mind, body, and spirit. Through the description of the gallery displayed, we come to understand that this idea of wellness can take on many forms. This image in particular focuses on the specific aspect of physical wellness. Titled “Physical Exercises in the Morning,” this image shows a group of women being lead by a male teacher during what looks like morning stretch excersise. The intriguing part of this picture stems from its complex composition. This image has a very strong presence of repetition, clearly seen in the structures created by each of the women. The man in the front is on an elevated surface facing the rest of the women. The pants that the man is wearing make for very balanced image because of the contrast it creates with the whiter parts of the image.
