Jeff Wall is a fantastic artist with a very unique process of taking photographs. He does not photograph right away. Instead, he remembers interesting things he sees on the street or in everyday life and then later recreates the scene to take a picture of it. Even for the photo below Tattoos and Shadows, he saw tattooed people sitting under a tree one day when he was walking home and he thought it was a beautiful scene. Almost a year later he finally got around to recreating the scene in order to take the photo.
