Split Tone
I chose to take a few different approaches in shooting my water motion images. As seen above, one approach I took was shooting photos of water that was in motion within itself. These are the fountain images. I tried to capture the still water surrounding the fountain, with the bursting fountain water in the frame. For the other images, I tried to capture the movement of water within an image, with a object which disrupts and shapes this movement, the object being my dog. As you can see I had my brother spray water on her and tried to capture the water not only hitting her but running off of her body. In the other image, she is leaving the water and I tried to capture motion in the ocean as well as the water leaving her body.
