The first picture of Maya has a short depth of field. The objects in the background, like the trees and the building are blurry and Maya’s face is the only thing in focus. I like the way the sun hits on the top of her head and makes it look like she is glowing. The second picture of Maya has a long depth of field. The whole picture is in focus and equally visible. I like the open shade that is present and casts shadows across Maya’s face as she looks towards the sky.
