Photoshop for beginners

I don’t know about the other students in my class, but this is my first ever experience with photography. I knew nothing of camera settings, angles, lighting, and especially not how to edit my photos. Since I am such a beginner, I needed to find the most basic photoshop tutorial possible. I found it. This video, though only five minutes, debunks all the questions I had about using photoshop. Julian the creator, uses the video to teach about the basics of layers and groups and how to rasterize them. He demonstrates how to import a photo and change the angles and dimensions of the photo. He thoroughly explains the difference between saturation and vibrance and when to use one or the other. I’m sure the distortion control and knowing how to add text will be very important in this class. He shows how to color correct and blur photos. He goes back to the very basics and makes the large entity of photoshop digestible for new learners.
